Gw2 works differently from most games. In most games, you have 'vertical progression', aka, you need to do one thing to unlock another, which unlocks another etc etc (think about wow, bdo etc). Gw2 however, uses horizontal progression. Meaning, once you hit level 80, you can do virtually any game mode, any dungeon, map, wvw, Exotic back items are actually not that easy or cheap to come by. Your best approach is probably to go strait for ascended back items. If you have access to specific living world episodes from season 3, 4 or 5, it shouldn't be to difficult or long. Posted June 6, 2018. Have a level 80 Mesmer. Kind of trying to diversify armor types. Have always in the past rolled dps style warriors. Dual wielding seeker types. So I’ll probably use 1 for warrior. For the second boost I’m torn between Necro, Rev, ranger and engineer. I’ll always do a bit of everything. According to the Black Lion Chest drop data, several players opened 87 chests and found a grand total of 2 Tomes of Knowledge. So in order to get one Tome of Knowledge, you will need to open: (100/2.2989) = 43.5 Black Lion Chests. Now you need 78 Tomes of Knowledge in order to get to level 80, so: (43.5*78) = 3393 Black Lion Chests. There's a pretty good variety of level-appropriate zones for any level range. Hell, I even went back and did some of Queensdale when I got (extremely) burnt out in Mount Maelstrom. There will always be a class you love, but a class that you love more. Guild Wars 2 scales people down to the level of a zone. But ESO scales everyone everwhere to the ability of what this game would call a level 80 in exotic gear. Unless you enter a raid or their version of fractal like content, at which point your champion points take over and achieve an effect similar to using Ascended gear here. The traitlines should be zeal, radiance and virtues. If you have HoT, then go for the current meta dragonhunter build. If you have PoF go for the core guardian build until you can obtain a condition equip for the firebrand. If you have HoT and PoF then I would recommend going for the dragonhunter build. Metabattle is a good starting point with I would have quit GW2 without a level 80 boost. Hey guys, 2 week old player here. I kind of feel like I come to this sub to lose upvotes, but whatever I'm going to speak my mind because I feel like I've seen a lot of hate towards the level 80 boosts. So I've seen people say that I'd miss out on the story, that I wouldn't know how to play my Vay Tiền Nhanh Chỉ Cần Cmnd.
